A Catch Up on Love - Part 1

I know it has been several days since I have done a Love post, but don't think that that is because I forgot to think about the things I love. The reason is that I went out of town Saturday and just got back yesterday. I didn't take my computer with me and reserved all of my computer borrowing time for Skype-ing with my two boys I left at home. So for those of you who have been lost each day not knowing what it was I was loving that day, this catch up is for you.

Saturday, Feb. 18th - I Love Provo!

Saturday afternoon Graham and I took off for a little visit to Provo. Graham, of course, was amazing the whole day traveling. There were plenty of other screaming children on the flights, but not my Grahamer. He just sat back, played with his toys, made faces at those sitting around him, and slept like the perfect baby he is.

Reason #1 for loving Provo:
Coming in on the flight that night I had the perfect aerial view of Provo and I found myself feeling like I was coming home. I realized that since I left Provo last April this is the longest I had been away since I first moved there almost ten years ago (holy cow, I am getting old!), and I realized just how much I have missed it. A lot in my adult life happened in that city, and so much of it being fond memories, especially the part where I met and married my husband, and brought my first baby boy into the world there. I have some kind of memory associated with almost every street and major building in that city, and even though I never thought I would say this when I first moved there, I loved living there and truly miss it.

Reason #2 for loving Provo:
At the beginning of the previous paragraph you may have asked yourself, "how could she have had such a clear view of Provo when coming into a landing in Salt Lake?" The answer is that I didn't land in Salt Lake. That is right my friends, I actually flew directly into the Provo Airport. Yes, you CAN do that. All thanks to the wonderful people at Frontier Airlines, I was able to have my family pick me up at the Provo airport and twenty minutes later be sitting down to dinner at Tucanos, stuffing my face with fabulous food. The only downer was that by that point Graham was so confused as to where we were and why daddy and Jackson weren't with us, and so tired from only getting twenty minute power naps all day that when my loving family swooped in and tried to smother the poor kid with their love and attention he freaked out and had to stay with me constantly. Luckily, the next morning, when the scary people were still there, he decided to make friends with them and allow them to love and adore him all they wanted. What a trooper!
